Famagusta
Famagusta is an old city which is encircled by its historical walls that date back to mediaeval times. The walls are well preserved and have stayed intact to this day. Two of the original gates The Sea Gate and the Land Gate of the Famagusta castle still stand:

Girne - Kyrenia
Girne - Kyrenia a fascinating town on the North coast of Cyprus, Girne - Kyrenia is famous for its magnificent, beautiful harbor and nearby its castle. This has to be one of the 1st places you visit.
Girne or Kyrenia Castle
It is believed that the castle was constructed to protect the town against the Arab raids in the 7th century. Located in the castle is The Shipwreck Museum, which houses the oldest recovered shipwreck in history. Another place not to miss is the Bellapais Monastery and St. Hilarion Castle, built once again to defend the island against the Arab raids.

The Karpaz Peninsula
Still today is a land where time stands still. Here you will find miles and miles of sandy beaches with not a single person in sight. With its Ancient towns, basilicas, ruins and tombs scatter the area just waiting for you to explore. Here you will get a taste of Cyprus twenty plus years ago. Guzelyurt
Visit the Guzelyurt Museum. This museum is home to a collection ranging from the prehistoric age of Cyprus to the Byzantine period.
Also in Guzelyurt is St. Mamas Monastery, dating back to the 18th century and which contains art going back to the 16th century.
Lefkosa -Nicosia
The capital of Cyprus and of course full of fascinating historical places. Nicosia contains many interesting museums and mosques which you can visit. Allow yourselves plenty of time to explore.
